Burger King Employee Pistol Whipped in Overnight Robbery
|
Newington police say an employee of the Burger King on the Berlin Turnpike was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries after he was pistol-whipped during an armed robbery overnight. Police say the employee had left the restaurant shortly after 12:30 a.m. when he was approached in the parking lot by three armed men who forced him back into the business and threatened to kill him if he did not turn over the cash.
Police say the suspects fled on foot, and a search including K-9 teams was unsuccessful.
