The suspect accused of murder in the deaths of two men whose bodies were found alongside Interstate 384 last month could face the death penalty.
Prosecutors have filed a charge of capital felony murder against 29 year-old Jokshan Bryant of New Britain, using the part of the statute dealing with multiple murders.
The bodies of 42-year-old Ronald Brown of Bristol and 37-year-old Eric Kimberly of Torrington were found early Sunday morning, June 22.
on separate sections of the hioghway. Autopsies concluded that Brown died of a gunshot wound and Kimberly of blunt force trauma.
Prosecutors asked that court records in the case be sealed because the investigation is continuing.
