Farmington Police Search for Alleged Diamond Thief

Farmington Police are investigating the theft of three diamonds worth $36,000 from the Monarch Jewelers at 838 Farmington Avenue. Police say the theft occurred on Saturday.
The suspect is described as a white male, with light olive skin, 35-45 years old, about 5'8" tall with a medium build and dark hair. Police say he has a significant bald spot and a large nose. The suspect was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt with a Red Sox logo on the left chest area.
Anyone with information on the theft is urged to call Farmington Police at 860-675-2400.
