Police in Norwich say a man was found late Friday night suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in front of a bar on Boswell Avenue. Officers were called to number 88 Boswell Avenue around 11:45 p.m. to find the man on the sidewalk in front of Rumor's Bar and Grill.

29-year-old Tynel Hardwich of Taftville was later pronounced dead at William W. Backus Hospital, police said.
