Police says several Wesleyan University students have been arrested after a clash with police who broke up a campus party.

Several students face charges including inciting a riot early today. The arrests occurred about one-thirty this morning.

According to TV reports, about 300 kids were there for an end of the year party and it got out of control.

University police called for backup from Middletown and state police.

Students have told WTNH-TV that police used pepper spray, stun guns and rubber bullets to control the crowd.
