IDLE THOUGHTS ABOUT THISA AND THATA: A.J. Price undergoes surgery on his injured knee on Friday. To know him is to like him so obviously the hope is that his recovery from his torn ACL is rapid and complete... I watched two minutes of the McDonald's All American Game. That's hardly enough time to make astute analysis but from what I saw of Kemba Walker, he certainly looks like he will contribute next season... Okay, here is an NCAA directed rant. I just learned at work today that there is now a rule that radio stations can't broadcast from hotels during the Final Four. You've got to be kidding me, right. Let's see, they charge for internet at tournament arenas, you have to have your beverage in an NCAA logo cup, radio stations can't stream their broadcasts during the men's tournament... give me a freakin' break... Hey Manny, I know you are a tremendous hitter but just once, run as soon as you hit a homer. Or else, don't complain when some pitcher gets annoyed and drills either you or the next hitter. Oh yeah, in Donald Fehr's world, that doesn't happen anymore... Chien Ming Wang hasn't pitched very well this spring. The Pinstripe Brethren are holding their breath...
