Mayor, State Rep. Ask for Review of Liquor Permit After Shootings
East Haven's mayor and a legislator representing the town are calling for the state to determine whether the liquor license at an East Haven bar should be suspended or permanently revoked. Mayor April Capone Almon and Representatove Mike Lawlor say the bar, Mango's, on Hemingway Avenue, was the scene of a triple shooting early Sunday. None of the victims received life-threatening wounds. The suspect fled before police arrived.
