Police ID Pedestrian Hit and Killed in Farmington

Farmington Police have identified the pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday morning on Brickyard Road.
Edward M. Gorecki, 55, of 13-B Brickyard Road was pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital following the accident, which occurred near the intersection with Eastview Drive, said police.
The driver of the Ford Expedition that struck Gorecki is identified as Paula Bauer, 41, of Farmington, authorities said.
Police continue to investigate the crash, which occurred around 7:41 a.m.
