Hartford police have an arrest warrant for a suspect in a triple shooting on Franklin Avenue last month. Two victims were found at the scene of the April 23 shooting at Franklin and Bond and the third went to a hospital emergency room.
Police say their investigation, including interviews with victims and witnesses and examination of evidence at the scene led them to 20-year-old Angel Carrion of 59 Shultas Place as the suspect. They obtained an arrest warrant charging him with two counts of criminal attempt to commit murder, two counts of assault in the first degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, criminal use of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm and carrying weapons in a motor vehicle.
The police department's Nancy Mulroy says the weapon used in the shootings has not been recovered, and Carrion should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Hartford Police Department Major Crimes Division at 757-4256 or 757-4265., or the police department's tips hotline, 527-TIPS (8477).
