HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Hartford police have identified a man who was shot to death in the city's north end and are asking for the public's help in finding the killer.
Police say 22-year-old Guillermo Malave of Rockville was shot several times Monday night on Vine Street. He was later pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-10 black male with a stocky build, dark clothing and a dark-colored, four-door Honda.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the police department's confidential tip hot line at 860-757-8477.
Police aren't saying why Malave was shot.
