PRESTON, Conn. (AP) _ Authorities say several Foxwoods Resort Casino employees were injured and another driver died in a chain-reaction crash on an eastern Connecticut highway.
The crash closed part of Route 2 in Preston for hours late Wednesday night. The highway reopened early Thursday.
Police say a sport-utility vehicle sideswiped a minivan, triggering a collision involving a bus carrying nine Foxwoods employees returning to their vehicles after work.
The driver of a fourth vehicle, 61-year-old Joseph Arnott of the Oakdale section of Montville, was killed.
Six people, including five on the Foxwoods bus, were taken to the William W. Backus Hospital with injuries. The crash remained under investigation Thursday.
