Suspect Arrested in Monday Bank Robbery; Also Suspect in 2 More

New Britain police say they've arrested a suspect in Monday morning's holdup at the People's Bank on West Main Street, and police say he's also the suspect in bank robberies within an hour and a half of one another on Nov. 20.
Police say 53-year-old Russell Jones of New Britain faces robbery and larceny charges in the Monday robbery. Bond was set at half a million dollars.
In addition, police identified Jones as the suspect in robberies at the TD Bank and Webster Bank, both in New Britain. They impounded his maroon Dodge Dakota as part of their investigation.
