A wind storm blew through Connecticut Monday.
Most of the Connecticut Light and Power Company customers who lost electricity because of downed trees and lines caused by the windy conditions have their electricity back.
Trees have recently sprouted leaves, which caught the wind, and the ground was soggy in many areas after recent rains..
At the height of things, at least 72-hundred customers were affected.
When part of a tree trunk fell on Barbour Road in New Britain, it brought down wires that fell on a state delivery van, trapping a man inside. He stayed safe by remaining inside the van, until Connecticut Light and Power crews took the power line off the van.
