BRISTOL, Conn. (AP)- A New Britain man has been arraigned on charges that he murdered two men whose bodies were found dumped along Interstate 384 over the weekend.
Jokshan Bryant was ordered held on $5 million bond following a hearing in Bristol Superior Court Tuesday.
Bryant's lawyer says he expects further arrests and that he expects his client will plead not guilty at a hearing scheduled for July 2. The arrest warrant in the case remains sealed at the request of prosecutors because of the ongoing investigation.
The 29-year-old Bryant was charged in the deaths of Ronald Brown Junior and Eric Kimberley. Their bodies were found by motorists along I-384 in Manchester and Bolton.
State police say Brown, of Bristol, died of a gunshot wound to the head. Kimberly, of Torrington, died of blunt force trauma.
