SOUTHBURY, Conn. (AP) _ The owners of Connecticut's largest driving school have been arrested on 108 criminal charges accusing them of forging documents submitted to state motor vehicle officials.
Joaquim, ``Jack'' Sousa and his wife, Sharon, owners of the Watertown-based Academy of Driving, face charges including forgery, false certification and criminal impersonation.
Jack Sousa's attorney, John F. Droney, describes the charges as technical violations.
The Sousas also face 500 administrative charges filed against the Academy of Driving by the state Department of Motor Vehicles.
They included such things as issuing learners permits without obtaining parental consent and filing fraudulent vision testing forms.
