Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives have re-elected their top leaders, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland, and Whip James Clyburn of South Carolina.
Congressman John Larson of Connecticut will take over from Rep. Rahm Emanuel of Illinois as chairman of the Democratic caucus because Emanuel was named President-elect Barack Obama's chief of staff.
