It's official. Cincinnati is the Big East Football Champion and heading to a BCS game. WOW. I didn't see that one coming, especially after UConn beat them up in the second half at the Rent on October 25th. Give them all the credit. Brian Kelly has done a real good job there, but don't forget, most of the players were brought in by Mark D'Antonio before he went to Michigan State..
You would have to think after today's loss that the heat on West Virginia coach Bill Stewart will intensify. It was a longshot that the Mountaineers win the BCS berth (they needed a win and a Cincinnati loss to Syracuse) but losing the "Backyard Brawl" twice in a row to Pittsburgh will have the West Virginia faithful in an absolute uproar.
