SHUFFLED OFF TO BUFFALO

AMHERST NY- Shocking, it doesn't snow every day in Buffalo, it just seems that way. Although, there are flurries in the forecast for later and "lake effect" snow tonite. Ok, enough with the weather forecaster impersonation.
UConn shot around this morning at Alumni Arena where they will play the University at Buffalo tonite. It's not the pit I imagined, sort of like a mini version of the "RAC". It seats 6,100 and although the Buffalo News did a good job of hyping the game, it's not expected to be filled tonite. Some of the Buffalo patrons have set path for Detroit where their football team play in the MAC title game tomorrow night.
No Jerome Dyson or Craig Austrie for the shootaround, they are expected to arrive at the team hotel around 3 or 4 after taking part in a class project back at school. It will be interesting to see how the days events affect their performances.
I think UConn has to play better than it did against Delaware State. Buffalo isn't a bad team and they play pretty well in their home arena. Broadcast time in 6:30.
If you go to Buffalo, you have to go to the Anchor Bar, home of the cities best ribs...Well, Wayne and I went last night and frankly, weren't impressed. Duffs is better, without the reputation.
