Security Dye Explodes, Robber Changes Clothes for Second Holdup


New Britain police say they think a bank robber had to change clothes after a robbery shortly before noon at the Webster Bank on Main Street because they believe security dye packed with the money exploded as he was making his getaway. . .  The same suspect is believed to have  conducted a second robbery an hour and a half later,  about half a mile away,   at the TD Bank.
