BIG MONDAY

The biggest Monday is the last Monday of the season, when the national championship game is played in Detroit.
Tonite is a Big Monday, UConn and PIttsburgh at the XL Center. Anytime you get two top five teams locking horns, it's special. When they are the top two ranked teams in their conference ,it's something extra special.
Pittsburgh has won five straight by scoring the ball. DeJuan Blair, Sam Young, Levantz Fields are all prime time players and as usual, Jamie Dixon has filled in the other spots quite nicely. They are athletics, and tough.
UConn has to get a better offensive effort that they did in the last three games. And they have to defend the perimeter better. If Pitt penetrates like Seton Hall did, they will either score -or- they will get Hasheem Thabeet into foul trouble. It's that simple.
