Traffic Problem Kicks Off Rush Hour Downtown

A car fire westbound on Interstate 84 at the entrance to the "tunnel" in downtown Hartford caused tieups Thursday as the afternoon rush hour was getting underway. Drivers reported the 84 backup affected Route 2 inbound and Interstate 91 southbound merging to Interstate 84 west.
