Body Found in Enfield

State Police are investigating the discovery of a man's body near Interstate 91 in Enfield Thursday morning. The discovery was made in the area of Exit 49, around 10:30 a.m. in a culvert on the MassMutual property off of Bright Meadow Boulevard, police said.
State Police have made a preliminary identification of the deceased. He was a white male, approximately 5'5", weighing 160 pounds, police said. Back in April, a traffic accident occurred in the same area and the driver had never been found. Jody King, 28, was identified as the driver of the vehicle in the crash on April 20. He fits the description of the body that was found, however police have not confirmed that the body is that of King.
The body, which is in a state of decomposition, was taken to the Office of The Chief State Medical Examiner for an autopsy, police said.
