Growing Conerns Over Amount, Pace of Fed Stimulus Plan

Governor Rell joins a growing list of state leaders who are concerned about federal the economic stimulus program. Rell joined with four other governors in giving an earful to Vice President Joe Biden about the slow pace that stimulus money is reaching states and the confusing guidelines for which projects can be eligible for funding.
Rell worried that Connecticut could miss out on funding to jumpstart a high-speed commuter rail line from New Haven to Springfield. State officials don't want to miss out on the construction season.
