HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ A federal grand jury in Indiana has indicted a North Carolina teen for alleged Internet threats in Connecticut, Massachusetts and several other states.
The 16-year-old boy is accused of making Internet bomb and related threats to Purdue University and other educational institutions throughout the country.
Among the alleged targets are Hamden High School in March and Boston College in February.
Prosecutors say the boy and others would tap into video surveillance cameras, call in a bomb threat and watch the police response as it happened.
Prosecutors say the teen and others offered to make bomb threat calls for a fee to shut down high schools.
