Connecticut Community Tops Income List for Smaller Cities
  A review of newly released census data shows smaller cities of between 20,000 and 50,000 residents have lagged
behind their larger counterparts in attracting higher-educated residents in this decade. The smaller locales include remote towns, inner suburbs, the distant suburbs known as ``exurbs'' and other distinct areas.Darien, Conn., topped all other cities with the highest median income, at $188,823.
Red Sox Announce 2010 Ticket Prices
The Boston Red Sox have announced that tickets for most Fenway Park seats will remain the same price  in 2010.
The team said Monday that 2010 regular season ticket prices will be held at last year's level in 12 areas of Fenway Park.
Amtrak Plans Extra Trains for Thanksgiving Travel Rush
 Amtrak is preparing for what it believes will be its busiest travel day this year.  Amtrak said Monday that it believes the Wednesday before Thanksgiving _ Nov. 25 _ will be its busiest travel day.  The railroad predicts ridership could be as high as 125,000 passengers that day.

Voluntary Recall Announced for a Million Mclaren Strollers
about a million Maclaren strollers sold by Target and Babies ``R'' Us are being recalled after 12 reports of children having their fingertips amputated by a hinge mechanism.   The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the recall includes nine models of Chinese-madesingle and double umbrella Maclaren strollers, which have been sold around the country since 1999.

State Lists Unclaimed Properties: Are You on the List?
Connecticut officials are trying to solve a $400 million mystery: Who owns the cash? The state treasurer's office says the unclaimed funds include dormant balances in savings and checking accounts, unclaimed wages and uncashed checks for insurance benefits. The agency says the money belongs to 887,000 people.

Tributes to Jasper Howard Around College Football
The University of Connecticut Huskies took the helmet and jersey belonging to Jasper Howard with them to Mountaineer Field,  where WVU fans also paid tribute to the fatally stabbed cornerback.  Deleon Gause of Boston College and Chris Chancellor of Clemson wore #6 jerseys in his memory.
Company Expands Recall of Highly Flammable Robes
Highly flammable women's robes sold by Blair are now linked to nine deaths, and the company is expanding a recall to include more products imported from the Pakistani manufacturer.     Since June, Blair LLC of Warren, Pa., has received four more reports of deaths linked to the full length women's chenille robes.

Fall foliage viewers will be able to get an update on the level of color change around the state with a new website set up by the state Department of Environmental Protection.  DEP says it will update the site each Monday and Wednesday through the fall.
PHOTOS: Hazardous Materials Dumped in 4 Towns
Police in Connecticut raided a Bristol business after 55-gallon barrels of hazardous materials were found dumped illegally at several locations in four towns. State police say they expect to make arrests in connection with the dump sites discovered Friday night and Saturday in Bristol, Plymouth, Burlington and Harwinton.
