A Rewarding, Memorable Day

Saturday 8:10pm - The Football Huskies should be rolling onto Campus shortly. Four points shy of a first ever win over West Virginia. But Noel Devine and the Mountaineers had other ideas at the end. The effort in Morgantown can't and shouldn't be questioned. I can't imagine how Dave Teggart feels tonight. But this I can tell you, this young team isn't very far away from being really good. Three losses by 9 points with a lot of youth on the field. We're talking Soph's, Redshirt Freshmen and True Freshman. That's the frustrating thing about this season, but it's an exciting part of the season to know what we should be in for in the near future.

On a personal note, I had a good feeling about the broadcast today. The whole pregame and game were handled the right way in a matter we all can be proud of. The only thing that would have made it better of course is a win. But next week is another game and for us, another broadcast. Hope you all enjoyed what we did today on WTIC and the UConn Radio Network. The Women's BB Team has an open practice Tuesday. Hopefully I can get there and update you on the progress of Geno's Team....Enjoy your weekend..It's been a week that the Entire UConn Community can be proud of in the wake of tragedy...
