Police: School Computer System Hacked

Manchester Police say they have seized the computers of two Manchester High School students after they allegedly gained unauthorized access to the computer system which records grading and attendance for the school district.

The students, ages 15 and 17, apparently accessed the system and changed various grades and attendance records, police said.

Police say it appears that the students observed a school administrator logging into the system, recording a valid user name and password, and later accessing the system.

So far, no criminal charges have been filed in the case. The incident remains under investigation.
