Man Charged in Bristol Killing

BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) - Bristol police have arrested a 20-year-old local man in connection with a fatal shooting in town.
Authorities say they took Anthony Johnson into custody shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday after a judge signed an arrest warrant charging him with murder in the killing of 24-year-old Fred Felix of New Britain on Sunday.
Johnson was ordered held in lieu of $3 million bail and was to be arraigned Tuesday in state Superior Court.
Police say Felix was shot shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the Cambridge Park public housing area. The medical examiner's office says he died of multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities have not released a motive.
Johnson could not be reached for comment, and it's not clear if he has a lawyer.
