Car Dealer Sentenced to Ten Years in Drug Conspiracy Scheme



Federal authorities say a New Haven car dealer has been sentenced to ten years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine.
Prosecutors say 59-year-old Roberto "Tito" Rodriguez,  the owner of Buy Rite Auto Sales on Ella Grasso Boulevard in New Haven was involved in purchase and distribution of more than 1.5 kilograms of cocaine and 373 grams of crack cocaine.
In all 16 people have been charged with various narcotics offenses as a result of the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force dubbed "Operation Brass Deal.
