Road Closed After Fatal Pedestrian Accident

Farmington police say a pedestrian struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning on Brickyard Road has died. Police say the crash occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m., near the intersection of Brickyard Road and Eastview Drive.The says the victim was taken by LifeStar helicopter to Hartford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim's name is being withheld, pending notification of family.
Police kept Brickyard Road closed much of the morning for the accident investigation. They're hoping to talk to anyone who witnessed the accident.
