Governor Orders Flags to Fly at Half Staff

Governor Jodi Rell has ordered U.S. flags and State of Connecticut flags flown at half-staff until sundown Tuesday, in memory of the victims of Thursday's shootings at Fort Hood, Texas. As a matter of protocol, state flags are always ordered when the national flag is flown at half-staff, and President Obama this morning ordered that U.S. flags be flown at half-staff for the same period.
