Lawyer: School Superintendent Will Be Vindicated

MILFORD, Conn. (AP) - Milford Superintendent of Schools Harvey Polansky's lawyer says Polansky will be ``totally vindicated'' of sexual harassment allegations made by two female school principals.
The Board of Education placed Polansky on paid administrative leave Sunday while an independent agency investigates the claims.
Polansky's attorney, Fred Dorsey, told the New Haven Register late Monday that Polansky is shocked by the allegations, but looks forward to clearing his name and returning to work.
School officials are not releasing the principals' names or details of their allegations. Floyd Dugas, a lawyer for the school board, says he will be hiring a lawyer to lead the investigation.
Polansky has been superintendent for three years. He got a three-year contract extension in December.
