Lightning Strike Sends One to Hospital

WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) _ Waterbury authorities say lightning apparently struck a house and medical workers took one person to a hospital as a precaution. Neighbors on Grassy Hill Road reported hearing an explosion shortly after 4:30 a.m. Friday. The condition of the person taken to the hospital isn't available.
People at the scene say there's a small hole in the roof and some back windows are shattered. No other details are available.
