Thieves Strike South Windsor Jewelry Store

South Windsor Police are investigating a burglary early Saturday morning at a jewelry store at the Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk. At 4:56 a.m., police say they responded to an activated burglar alarm at the Ultra Diamonds jewelry store to find a smashed glass window. The first officer arrived at the scene within four minutes.
Authorities say four men entered the store and smashed display cases-- making off with a quantity of jewelry. Investigators believe they fled in a nearby waiting vehicle.
