Tared Heels that's for sure !!

Another day, another rout. UConn 88, North Carolina 47. The same Heels who average 86pts per game. Trounced by a team that defends as well as they score. Their top two scorers, Cetera DeGraffenreid & Italee Lucas were a combined 2-14..Wow. And the bigs simply had NO answer for Tina Charles who gets up and down the floor like Maya or Kalana. Yes, they too had solid games as the Women had three double doubles in a game for the first time this season. Sylvia Hatchell thinks this team might be better than last season's team. And we've heard that a few times already. Scary eh ??

Brad Heller, the Carolina Radio Guy chatted with me at halftime and said that Tina was the key last spring. Absolutely !! If she plays like she did today, nobody beats them. In fact, if you go to my friend John Altavilla's Blog at Courant.com, you'll find an interesting piece on Geno and his teams constant drive for perfection. And I'm not talking season....Game perfection. Which the first 20 minutes today were pretty darn close to it.

So it's off to Milwaukee and Marquette Wednesday. Reminder with the Guys playing as well (6:30 on WTIC N/T 1080) we'll be on the FM (96.5 TIC) at 7:30...Tough loss to say the least at G'Town today for the guys. Pitt's here Wednesday. Another doozy on the way...Stay Warm :)
